The Collective Unconscious

Carl Jung coined the term ‘the collective unconscious’ addressing what is unseen in the field of the collective driving the web of life. Much in the same way that the heart beats without the need of the conscious mind.

The collective unconscious lies beneath the surface of our awareness governing the way we see the world, relate, respond or react.

Whatever is unconscious in our awareness is less likely to be responded to consciously.

As awareness arises, it is as though a light is switched on and our obstacles are revealed and can then be avoided. Solutions are more easily found.

Perhaps this is why in 2022, we still see toxic industries drawing on our earth’s resources as if the earth is not a part of our body, breath, water and spirit.

Yet, here we are, turning the light on.

We are awakening to our collective connectedness.

The web of life that weaves us all together is our felt sense. It informs all the senses. This is the nature of consciousness.

In this time it is vital for our well-being to trust in the technology of our biology.

Our physiology and psychology responds. We are connected to all of life.

It is this wisdom that is guiding us. Reflecting our collective evolution, revealing our remarkable consciousness as indivisible from nature. From the whole.

We are healing one another, we are walking each other home.

But first let’s acknowledge the grief and pain of our collective losses. The tragedies that have cost us our healing connection to the natural world and to the feminine.

The extinctions, the loss of natural habitat and gradual but undeniable extinction of indigenous cultures and the ancient wisdoms that are a part of our heritage.

We can turn it all around.
