This artwork is the result of a vision I had during a plant medicine journey. During the journey the wings of an Angel became apparent as too the song-lines of our planet which is behind the Angel’s head.

The wings are the dominant feature of the artwork which symbolise the figure’s potency to transform and uplift any situation through absolute presence. The Angel symbolises the raw potential inside every individual and the capacity to rise above any challenge regardless of one’s circumstances.

At one time after encountering my own personal challenges, I lay curled up in foetal position in a barrage of tears. When I looked up at the original painting I recalled the message behind the artwork and how we alone are the cause of our own transformation and that when full responsibility for life that it is possible to Arise out suffering and pain.

Since then, I continue to search for my own Angel wings, to find out if it is possible to be the Angel of my own life and strive to be a catalyst for the world I desire to live in. Perhaps you too can join me?
