Description
Whale shark bridges the earth, oceans and stars. Science revelas that when a star dies, it is creating new life out of which planets and all life forms are created. So we are literally made of the stars. Death connects us to a deeper sense of reverence for life and our place in the universe. So these beings, Whale sharks I believe are a kind of portal.
As I was creating this I fell in love with painting on a whole new level, especially after taking a break from painting with oils.
What made the experience even more beautiful is that close to completion of this painting, a Whale Shark was sighted swimming in Noosa at Tea Tree Bay!
