I nearly didn’t honour the call.
Perhaps you know the feeling? A part of my mind said ‘no, there’s to much competition among artists.’
‘I’ll never be able to shine my light as bright.’
When I heard these very subtle but manipulative voices I almost took them as gospel.
I nearly didn’t listen to my soul’s calling to create art for the aliveness that it brings.
Yet I dare to live fully. I dare to sing the song that is in my soul.
In-fact that song is the song of life. Its not my life, or my art.
Its the art of the universe expressing itself.
Yet I momentarily forget. I forget that its all of us in the one song.
So I remind myself and you. I do it for us so we can come home together.
To the one true home that is life itself.
Singing the one great song together. One voice. One heart.
