What is Art Therapy?

Art Therapy is creative technology used for developing wellbeing.. 

It uses painting, drawing, movement, spoken and written word, music & song and more. 

Essentially our keys to wholeness already lie within us all.

Exercising creativity unearths who we already are through engagement. Creativity amplifies our presence. Which is precisely why it is so effective.

Art Therapy bypasses the filter of the rational mind. Which is so crucial in modern times where stress rates high.

Art reveals for us many underlying aspects that rise to the surface as we explore the subtleties. 

We can make known what we may have been avoiding and from there gain insights which prove beneficial for growth and evolution.

 Transcending the Personal

In life, we often tend to relate things back to the self. We may take things personally. Feelings of isolation can relate to unmet needs in some shape or form. This tends to be because we assume that life revolves around a central focal point. once again, the self which is prone to distorted views of perception. Invariably problems can arise within such perceptions. Integral Arts Therapy serves to broaden our perspective, offering an alternative that can help find peace beyond the constructs of old beliefs.

Working therapeutically with the arts for the purpose of awakening consciousness, we can explore the elements of nature, shamanism, drawing, movement, written and spoken word, music, meditation, yoga and a wide array of tools to support us to grow fully.

Clients undertaking the process find themselves rewarded in their journey, their hearts open. Their fears and doubts are revealed, faced and dissolved as they find they are greater and far more powerful than their fears.
